StencilGirl® and seth apter WOW! embossing powder hop!

Hello and Welcome to the StencilGirl® and Seth Apter WOW! Embossing Powder Hop!

One of the things that makes me truly happy when creating, is combining amazing products together to create unexpected and wonderful results.  For most, you wouldn’t immediately think of embossing powder and stencils to be the perfect pair, but they can be.  When you get this excited over the finished project, why waste time with talking.  Let’s check out what I created.  🙂

The amount of depth, texture, and overall awesomeness you can get from 2 simple products is amazing.  The technique isn’t complicated at all.

Add embossing ink or use Seth’s embossing brush to add embossing medium through a stencil.  Remember, that less is more and not much is needed for the embossing powder to stick.

Heat and done!

For my piece, I added a spray over the embossed sections which added even more depth of color. The embossed areas act a resist which allows you to create easily.  You can also emboss an entire piece, like I did for the wings.

Although the rest of my piece took time to pull together, I create an amazing look box in no time.  Imagine stenciling + embossing on a large cigar box.  I be-still my heart! ♥♥♥
