New StencilGirl® Release – Inspired by my Travels

Hello!  and WELCOME to a new month and a new StencilGirl® stencil release!

This release, much like my last release(s) are inspired by world travels to Iceland, Scotland, and within the U.S.  I enjoy creating stencils based on my travels and architectural shapes always catch my eye.

Please scroll to the bottom so you don’t miss out on the most important stencil of all in this release!  It is something I believe strongly in, and I hope you do too.

‘Through the Gates’ comes from my trip to the Eastern State Penitentiary, located in Philadelphia, PA.  The stencil is inspired by a picture I took of the medical wing of the old Penitentiary.  It was operational from 1829 to 1971 and is reported to be haunted.  If you are a ghost hunter, this is the place to visit.

‘Icelandic Church’ is from my 2017 trip to Iceland.  Iceland’s beauty comes in all shapes and forms and the country is full of small white, red-roofed churches.  They often sit solitary on the nills or near the sea, as if they were sentinels for Mother Nature.

‘Gaelic Angel’  is inspired by my most recent travels, last fall to Scotland.  This statue is located in St. Giles Cathedral, in old town Edinburgh.  Churches have always been a favorite destination during my trips.

My final travel inspired stencil also comes from my recent to Scotland.  Scotland is full of early century Abbey and I think we visited all of them last fall.  LOL.  This stencil is inspired by Jedburgh Abbey, a ruined Augustinian Abbey founded in the 12 Century.  It is stunning to see in person and I would highly recommend adding it to your bucket list of places to see in Scotland.

The final stencil in this release is inspired by something very important something I believe strongly in.  No additional words are needed, other than those listed on the stencil itself.

Here’s a small sampling of some of the art journal spreads I’ve made with my new release.  I can’t wait to see how they inspire you to create.  ♥♥♥

TaDa for Now!  ♥♥♥
