Hello and Welcome to my new home for all things creative, fun, and inspiring.
This new site has been on my ‘project list’ for over 2 years and I really didn’t think it would actually happen. As they say, ‘life happens’ and one thing or another took priority.
At the beginning of 2023 I made this a priority and that this WOULD BE the year to make this happen. I reached out to my art community for web design support which kicked off the process. Thank you to Alyssa McGrew for getting me started and to my son, (who is an amazing graphic designer btw, who focuses on UX), who really helped me put the finishing touches on the site. Thank you Alecx.♥
A lot of thought, research, and sweat & tears went into the new logo design. I wanted something that represented my love for all things vintage + my overall quirkiness and my ‘against the grain’ attitude. What do you think about it?
My website will be a work in progress. This is just phase ONE, but I wanted a place you can visit to see my latest news, product designs, subscribe to a (new to me) newsletter, and whatever mischief I can get myself into.
I have aspirations to start writing NEWS (blog) posts again, but no guarantees. LOL. Writing posts is a REAL commitment, and I will admit, writing is NOT my strength. I would much rather be getting my hands full of paint and cutting up paper. My NEWS post may become my newsletter content, so no worries if you miss one or the other.
Phase TWO will be the addition of a place for self-hosting of online workshops and classes. One of my personal art goals is to create and publish more online learning content for those who can’t travel to my in-person workshops. Workshops may include book making, art journal inspiration, and whatever my mixed media brain can come up with. We are in the beginning stages of developing the sites for that content so stay tuned for future announcements and updates.
Want to know about me and my art journey? You can visit the ABOUT tab listed above. I would love to learn more about YOU! Please share in the comments below.
Thank you again for taking the time to stop by, visit, and say HELLO to my new place!
